Mitral Valve Surgery
There is severe mitral regurgitation secondary to prolapse of A1A2 segments of the mitral valve anterior leaflet. The MR jet is eccentric and directed posteriorly. The anterior and posterior leaflets of the MV are thickened. There is mild aortic regurgitation. There is severe tricuspid regurgitation. LV systolic function is normal. The aorta is not imaged adequately. The MV has been repaired and an annuloplasty ring placed for the tricuspid valve.
