Reveal Findings

Mitral Valve Replacement
There is severe mitral regurgitation secondary to flail P2 segment of the posterior mitral valve leaflet. The MR jet is eccentric and directed anteriorly. The LV systolic function and RV function are normal. There is no RWMA. Post CPB, we can see a mechanical mitral valve replacement. The bileaflet valve opens normally and there is no significant paravalvular leak seen.
